Other Leave
Personal Leave
Full-time employees will be credited with two (2) days personal leave each contract year. An employee having completed ten (10) years of employment in the Conway School District shall have the option of using three (3) of their current sick leave days, making available five (5) personal leave days for that school year. Any unused personal leave days will be credited to accumulated sick leave at the end of the school year.
Sick Leave
All contracted employees shall be allowed sick leave with full pay at the rate of one day per contracted month beginning with the first day of employment, with the accumulation maximum of 120 days.
Vacation
Full -time twelve month employees will be allowed vacation time with full pay at the rate of one (1) day per contracted month, beginning with the first day of employment, to a maximum of ten (10) days.
Catastrophic Leave
An Employee, whether or not that employee has contributed days to the catastrophic leave pool, who meets the criteria shall be eligible to apply for days in the pool. In no event will an employee be eligible to receive more than thirty (30) days from the pool in a school year. If you have any questions, please contact Dianne Allen at 450-4800.
Bereavement Leave
Any employee who works twenty-five (25) or more hours per week shall be allowed five (5) days bereavement leave without loss of pay or sick days upon suffering the death of a spouse, child, parent, or "legal guardian".
